Project overview

Simplistic Views partnered with Wheels to create a CEO-led employee communications video introducing the company's new workplace, its amenities, and the employee experience behind the move. Designed as a high-impact asset for HR and internal communications, the video welcomed current and future employees, showcased the office and its amenities, and demonstrated leadership's commitment to collaboration, wellness, and work-life balance. Simplistic Views produces corporate video for HR, communications, and marketing teams throughout Chicago, Schaumburg, and the surrounding northwest suburbs.

Challenge

Wheels was preparing employees for a significant workplace transition into a new Schaumburg office, and HR needed more than a standard announcement. The company needed a polished communication asset that could introduce the space, explain its benefits, and make leadership visible during the transition. The video also needed to present the office as more than a physical location. It had to communicate how the environment supported collaboration, employee wellness, workplace culture, and the company's next chapter.

Approach

Simplistic Views developed a CEO-led video that combined direct executive communication with visuals of the new office and its employee-focused amenities. By placing leadership messaging alongside footage of the workplace, the video gave employees both the strategic reason behind the move and a tangible view of what they could expect. The result was a more personal and visually engaging alternative to a written office announcement.

Deliverables

Executive Visibility

A direct message from the CEO helped make the workplace transition feel intentional, personal, and supported by company leadership.

Workplace Storytelling

Visual coverage of the new environment allowed employees to understand the office experience before or during their transition into the space.

Reusable HR Communication

The finished video created an asset that could support employee communication, onboarding, recruitment, workplace orientation, and future company presentations.

A major Chicago-area workplace move

Wheels leased approximately 214,108 square feet inside the Zurich North America headquarters at 1299 Zurich Way in Schaumburg. Commercial real estate reporting identified the transaction as the largest Chicago-area office lease of 2024.

The new workplace was designed to bring Illinois employees together and support collaboration, innovation, wellness, sustainability, and an improved employee and client experience.
